Visual Storytelling for learning and teaching.
1. How might you use a digital portfolio? What purpose do you want it to serve?
A digital portfolio is a great way to showcase previous and current projects, give sample courses, production process and provide links to video and other content that does not fit in a resume, CV or even in a printed portfolio.
I plan on including all of the above items, as well as showcase mini tutorials on my Instructional Design research. I want to use it as a possible collaboration and networking tool as well as inspire others with accessible visual content.
2. What audience do you have in mind for your portfolio?
The audience will be potential clients, colleagues, fellow researchers and those searching for more information on visual design for adult education.
3. What elements/content, might you want to include in your portfolio? If you already have a portfolio, what have you been inspired to add or change about yours after viewing the sample portfolios?
I want to include my resume, video intro, interactive samples, accessible design, guides, an about me page, and a gallery of sample work.
4. What preliminary design ideas do you have in mind for your portfolio? Your ideas could include typography, color, images, or layout.
I would like to include images, graphics, video sample or trailer of different graphic design and educational videos I have already produced. I would like to include sample scripts, collaboration methods and fun info about learning.
Linking to my LinkedIn page, social media, and creating gifs or short videos to showcase instructional design layouts and students learning.
